Kids Make Social Change in Their Community

5th grade students from the Marlborough Intermediate School get funding for new recess equipment. The students were awarded $1,000 from United Way Youth Venture to buy equipment.

 

What is United Way Youth Venture?

United Way Youth Venture is a partnership between Youth Venture New England and United Way of Tri-County. This partnership began in July 2008. Youth Venture is a non profit organization that works with youth ages 12-20 to create, lead and launch community benefiting club, business or team.

 

The United Way Youth Venture partnership will give up to a $1,000 grant to help fund a youth developed program!

·        Clinton High School

·        Stacy Middle School-Milford

·        Framingham High School

·        JFK Middle School- Hudson

 

Interested in Making a Social Change in Your Community?

If you have an idea that will benefit your community and are between the ages of 12-20 we want to help! We offer up to $1,000 to help start-up costs, materials, support and a network of like-minded young people across the nation, and worldwide!
